I had to be
very brave when shipped to Victoria, British Columbia. I remember
being very frightened when my new owner picked me up from the
Airport. I was all by myself. I didn't have my litter mates, my
mother (Crystal) or my human (Bonnie). But, as soon as I was taken
out of my crate, I knew I was going to be OK. I was held in my
new human's arms and loved. It felt so good! When I got home I
met some more new friends -- they were like me only another colour
but that was OK. They would look after me, too.
I am very happy
in my new home. I live with 3 humans and 2 shelties. I have had
the opportunity to play in the Conformation ring but haven't been
to many shows up to now as I need to mature and grow more coat.
I get lots of grooming and now, I will even let my human brush
me while I'm lying down on my back. I don't like having my nails
clipped but try to be patient with my human!
During the past
6 months I have been going to Obedience School once a week. As
first I was frightened of all those BIG black dogs but now I stay
beside them and don't even have to have my leash on anymore. My
friend, Lynda takes me to Agility and I get to go into my first
show later this month. School is lots of fun for me because I
get lots of praise and I am a "STAR". I also have my CGC. It's
nice to have some new letters beside my name.
I have heard
a rumour that I am going to the National in Edmonton next April.
My owner also has plans for me to be a Mom next summer. My husband
has not been chosen yet but I sure hope he will be handsome.
I hope you have
enjoyed my story.
