SALES CONTRACT FOR SHOW OR BREEDING QUALITY DOGS

This animal is guaranteed to be free from all hereditary defects affecting its suitability for breeding, and is guaranteed to be free of disqualifying and serious faults of a structural or temperamental nature. Health is guaranteed for 48 hours on all Puppies only and it is recommended that the buyer have the animal examined by a reputable veterinarian during that time.

New Addition to Contract as of March 24/2000 - Any dog sold by Islewind to any party if subjected to physical, mental or any type of abuse, can and will be reacquired by Islewind without refund of money or any other considerations. Further reports to SPCA and further afield will be done as well.

All dogs sold to 'show/breeding' homes by Islewind are expected to complete their Canadian/American Champions and any other titles in the Dog Fancy that the new owner is willing to provide. Islewind will enforce legally all aspects in this contract regarding the dogs being shown to their championship (Canadian or American) and will enforce all genetic testing is done on their show/breeding dogs.

No dog sold by Islewind is to be sold or used by a Puppy Mill. Owners will be subjected to legal proceedings in the event this happens. A Puppy Mill is a kennel that raises and breeds dogs without doing genetic testing, selling without non-breeding contracts and/or does not attempt to show dogs to their championships.

Any dog that cannot remain with current owner, Islewind get right of first refusal to take dog back and place again or keep at this decision. Islewind would ideally like all genetic testing complete on the puppy prior to breeding. All puppy buyers receive a 20% discount on return purchases.
